Well, so far everything has been going good here in Spain. My Spanish class has been pretty good the past couple of days. In one of the classes I actually had FUN! I know. I couldn't believe it either! haha
I am busy all the time helping Brent and Cindy, watching their kids....doing laundry, cooking and cleaning. Cindy calls it the missionary brunt work! But I don't mind, cause in Colossians 3:17 & 23 it says,  "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."

But I have also had a lot of time to be studying my Bible and praying and I really feel like I am drawing closer to God every day. I really want to bring "The Way of the Master" to Spain. I want to be able to go into bars and onto the college campuses and bring the Gospel and the truth of the Bible to as many people that I can. We are in a battle, but not a battle of flesh and blood.....but of the mind and soul. Satan has lost the war but he wants to bring as many souls with him as he can. He will do anything and everything in his power to stop Christians from spreading the Good News. Using any means possible, he will deceive and lead astray those who are not strong in their faith.

But God tells us in the Bible in Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." NKJV

God also promises that NOTHING can separate us from His love.
Romans 8:35-39 "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In John 16:33 Jesus tell us, "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

So as Christians we can expect persecution, trials, temptation and tribulation, but what does Jesus tell us? That we are to be of good cheer, in other words that we can have joy even during our days that seem like Jonah days. Days where everything seems to being going all wrong. But we can have peace, cause we know that the end of the battle has already been won. I hope and pray that you are on the winning side.
